Circa 1919 Martin moved his family and his bookstore up the street from 305 Selkirk to 568 Selkirk Avenue. Martin, Anastazia and their children Olga, Paul, Angela and William made their home above the bookstore for about a year in 1919 and 1920. The family lived here when daughter Amelia (Millie) was born in March 1920.
Henderson’s 1920 Winnipeg Directory lists Martin’s home and bookstore at this address. In the first Directory entry below on page 593 the letter h is Henderson’s abbreviation for house indicating that Martin resided at this address. The second entry, found on page 1450, is Martin’s business listing.

The 1921 census records a four room detached wooden house at 568 Selkirk. In the above image from Google Street View the brown brick building on the right, which appears to be a storefront, is 568 Selkirk today. The Bobowsky’s house might have borne a closer resemblance to the stucco building on the left, built in 1906, with a storefront on the street and a residence behind.
Sometime after Millie was born in March,1920 Martin closed his bookstore and the family moved to Flora Avenue.
