350 Shaw Street is the first known address for members of the Bobowsky family when the originally moved to Toronto in the mid-1930s*. The 1937 Toronto Directory lists Olie Bobbs residing at 350 Shaw Street**. In addition when Paul Bobowsky and Rae Bonder married In Toronto in May, 1937 Paul gave his home address on the marriage certificate as 350 Shaw Street as did Angela Bobowsky and Oscar Magid (both witnesses to the marriage). The 1937 Toronto directory lists Samuel Siegel as the principal occupant of the house suggesting Samuel rented a room or rooms to the Bobowskys.
Today 350 Shaw Street is listed as a 4 bedroom, 4 bathroom, 2500 square foot fully renovated house. It backs on to Fred Hamilton Park in the Little Italy neighbourhood.

There is a gap in the available records between 1934 and 1937. It is possible that some family members lived in Toronto but were not recorded in the directories during that period.
