Oscar and Olie Magid purchased this home circa 1956. They divorced shortly afterward and Olie and Ralph continued to live there until Olie’s death until 1960. From 1960 Ralph and Oscar lived in Vancouver for a few years and the house was rented. Oscar then separated from Marjorie Herron and Ralph and Oscar moved back to 12 York Downs Drive. Oscar lived there with his third wife, Dorothy, until his death in 1987. Ralph lived in the basement until the early 1970s. The house has since been torn down and replaced.
