Martin and Anastazia Bobowsky lived at 930 and/or 932 Burrows Avenue with their children Olga and Paul from about 1914 to 1916. Their daughter Angela was probably born in this house.
The 1915 edition of Henderson’s Winnipeg Directory, page 808, lists Martin “Boboski” at 932 Burrows. The 1916 edition lists Martin “Bobosski” at 930 Burrows (see images below). The house number discrepancy is most likely due to a street number adjustment. Today 926 Burrows and 932 Burrows are adjacent houses with no buildings between them.

932 Burrows was a 3 room wooden house that rented for about $10 per month. The house at this address today (pictured) was built in 2005 so was not the house the Bobowsky family lived in.
In the spring of 1916 the family moved to Redwood Avenue.
